Moncrieff-Bray Gallery
I work as a gallery assistant at Moncrieff-Bray Gallery in Petworth. My responsibilities include building and mainting the website though Wordpress and Artlook, writing copy for the website and subscription emails, and creating social media content to build our reach. More practical tasks include assisting with installation, invigilators the gallery space, and making sales.
Nature in Perspective
I curated a 40 piece exhibition of local art at Cranleigh Art Centre which ran for 4 weeks in January 2023. This was a solo project which took 3 months to plan from conceiving the theme, researching and connecting artists, promoting the show through leering and social media, and installation. Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair
I worked as a Sales Assistant at WCPF where my major responsibilities were to engage clients and facilitate sales. I also took on other tasks including curating a section of roughly 50 works and assisting with packing and unpacking pieces.
Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery
While volunteering for the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery at Leeds University I was part of the installation team for the Art and Design Degree Show. This was a particularly tricky install with complicated pieces and a short turn around. This made it particularly rewarding to see the finished exhibition at the opening.
Leeds University Special Collections:
Women's Aid Archive
I undertook a four month volunteer project with Leeds University Specilal collections where I catalogued a collection of VHS tapes for the newly acquired Women's Aid Federation of England archive. I documented over 70 tapes, assessing them for research and digitisation potential.
